Derek Henrichsen, a sophomore, had one
of his top times of the season to win the 100 freestyle (1:00.6), but it was the only race the Spartans (7-6) won
as they fell in Public Central A. Lawrence set a school record with a 3:45.8 swim in the 400 freestyle relay.

Rancocas Valley 95 - East Brunswick 75

Rancocas Valley took first and second in
the 200 medley relay against East Brunswick and never looked back.
The fourth-seeded Red Devils beat East Brunswick, 95-75, advancing to the sectional semifinal against top-seeded
Lawrence.
RV got two individual wins from freshman Andrew Gsell (200 IM and 500 free) and a lifetime best from senior Pat
Buck, who won the 200 free in 1:53.21.
Rancocas Valley's depth was the difference, however. Despite the fact that East Brunswick won six of 11 events
- including both freestyle relays - the Red Devils were able to run away with the meet.

West Windsor-Plainsboro South 115 - Jackson 55

In Public Central A, Jon Wolek and Danny
Murphy each won an individual event and were part of the Jags' winning 200 freestyle relay team, but the Pirates
were too much to handle.
Wolk won the 100 free (51:62) and Murphy won the 100 back (1:00.19). The two then joined Colin Brown and Eric Skurka
and won the 200 free relay (1:39.09). Jackson's medley relay team of Wolek, Mike Columbo, Murphy and Brown swam
a personal best time of 1:49.45 for second place.
